Construction work is a dangerous land-based job. This work includes many hazardous task and conditions such as working with height, excavation, noise, dust, power tools, and equipment. The most common fatalities are caused by the fatal four: falls, struck by an object, electrocutions and caught-in/between. Occupational fatalities are individuals that pass away while on the job or performing work-related tasks. Within the field of construction, it is important to have safe construction sites.

Course Objectives
To provide clear information on current legislation, codes of practice and guidance notes associated with construction work, ensuring the implementation of a safe system of work.  To gain knowledge and information on the roles and responsibilities.


Who should attend?
This course is designed for Site Managers, Project Managers, Supervisors and Engineers whose duties include responsibility for the Planning of any site activities and who will have overall control to act on behalf of the management of the organization requirement.

All delegates wishing to attend the Appointed Person course must have completed their Construction Skills Managerial & Professionals Health, Safety & Environmental test before starting the Appointed Person training.

✓ Requirements of Dubai Code of Safety Practice in Construction Site

✓ Method Statement, and Risk Assessment and Risk Management
