Diploma in Coaching and Mentoring-L5

Would you like to add to your qualification and perform coaching and mentoring as part of your daily role?  The Level 5 Diploma in Coaching and Mentoring course is designed to move individuals into a development role or as a coach and mentor in freelance positions. The course is aimed at middle to senior managers who want to acquire the skills, confidence and knowledge and develop their coaching and mentoring skills that can be effectively used within an organisation. The course will give individuals insight into what it takes to become an effective coach and mentor and enable employees to become productive performers that will lead to the success of an organisation.

The Level 5 Diploma in Coaching and Mentoring course will give individuals a detailed understanding of their role as a coach and mentor and it is the perfect opportunity to develop in this capacity. Individuals will acquire best coaching techniques and practices that enable them to apply their knowledge in real-world scenarios and promote a coaching atmosphere within an organisation. The course is nationally recognised and learners can transfer their credits to college or university programmes in a similar discipline.

Entry Requirement        
✓ Learners should be over the age of 19, and must demonstrate one of the following:
✓ Have work experience as a manager or in a similar job role.
✓ Learners who have no formal management qualifications but have several years of experience and have completed formal training in similar positions. 

PLEASE NOTE: If English is not your first language, you need to have an IELTS 6.0 or CEFR level C1 (or equivalent).

Method of Assessment
The Level 5 Diploma in Coaching and Mentoring qualification consists of seven mandatory units.

To pass this course the learner must have successfully passed all the assessment criteria. The purpose of assessment is to ensure that effective learning has taken place to give learners the opportunity to:
✓ Meet the standard determined by the assessment criteria
✓ Achieve the learning outcomes
✓ All units within these qualifications are internally assessed. The qualifications are criterion referenced, based on the achievement of all the specified learning outcomes.

Certification     
On successful completion of this course, you will be awarded the Level 5 Diploma in Coaching and Mentoring by Chartered Management Institute.
