This Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) online course meets the minimum expected standard for the first aid appointed person within a low risk workplace.
After completing a First Aid needs assessment, and determining that a qualified first aider is not required you will need to appoint someone to meet emergency first aid requirements. This person will maintain the first aid kit and most likely call the emergency services. They will not be required to treat and injuries. It is this appointed first aid person this this course is designed to train.
The course provides the knowledge needed to respond confidently and appropriately in an emergency situation.
